Could I have an example of why light is faster than sound?

Ermmm.... I have a little trouble with science nd i need help with a question. I need example of how light is faster than sound! I know that light is fatster than sound buh i need an example. EXCEPT the lightining one, you know you see the light first and then the sound comes after.
