My yahoo messanger will not load?

my yahoo messanger will not load, keeps saying runtime error programfiles/yahoo/messanger/yahoomessan… then it says R6025 pure virtual call............... what does this mean and can it be fixed helpppppppppppp i miss talking to my friends
