How do i setup an audible alert when i get a new e-mail?

If you have Yahoo messenger open : Click messenger top left, scroll down to preferences click, click alerts and sounds. Check enable alerts ,check playing a sound highlight the alert for a message, a friend etc. then browse for the sound and click o.k.
