I need a laptop for college....

I know NOTHING about laptops. Money isn't much of an issue, unless its ridiculousy expensive. I'm only looking for something that I can carry around easily & that won't be too complicated/problematic. I just want to be able to do my homework (I'll be majoring in Psychology), internet, & listen to music. I've been thinking about a Mac & I also like the (Pink) Sony Vaio. Any suggestions?
