Mid ocean ridges are I chain of mountains up the middle of an ocean. They form at constructive plate boundary where two plates pull apart leaving a gap. This gap is called a rift valley. Magma rises and fills the rift valley. Magma builds up to form mountains. These are your mid ocean ridges
