Can Kingsnakes eat crickets?

I have a cali king snake baby and a mexican red-knee tarantula. I will be breeding crickets soon and was just wondering can my snake eat crickets. I will still feed him pinkies but just as a snack or sumtin feed him a cricket here and there?
