Please help, Losing faith in God?

theres is nothing wrong with questioning god...im sure everyone in your church will tell you there is..but nothing is wrong with free thought..if you want to feel close to god i suppose you need to pray to him and just have conversation with him...isnt that how you would get close to a friend?
